Registration for the LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Program is Open!
LPGA*USGA Girls Golf is a community of more than 50,000 girls across the globe who are learning and loving the game. Girls Golf sites, like First Tee – Greater Richmond, provide girls with quality golf instruction led by LPGA and PGA teaching professionals or certified coaches from First Tee. Girls Golf members learn more than the game of golf…they learn confidence and valuable life skills. From leadership to healthy living, Girls Golf uses the Five E’s to Empower, Enrich, Engage, Exercise, and Energize through the game of golf. The LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Program is for girls of all ages – from our beginners and our youngest girls, to our more experienced golfers and future leaders!

New for 2025! Girls Only Spring Golf Class
Give your daughter the opportunity to build confidence and make new friends while learning the game of golf in a fun, supportive environment. This girls only class will take place mid-March through May on Thursdays from 4:30 – 5:30pm at the Elson Redmond Memorial Driving Range! This class is designed to empower young girls through sports while teaching valuable life skills such as growing through challenge and teamwork. Whether she’s a beginner or has some experience, our welcoming coaches will help her develop skills both on and off the course. Sign up today and watch her grow in confidence and ability! We will not have classes March 31, 2025 – April 5, 2025.
Upcoming Events
Tuesday, February 11th at the Elson Redmond Memorial Driving Range from 4:30-5:30pm – Join us for a fun evening of Valentine’s Day themed golf activities in addition to creating Valentine’s Day cards for friends, family, or classmates. All ages 6-17 are welcome!
Friday, April 11th at Belmont Golf Course from 5:00 – 6:00pm – Participants will enjoy a fun Masters themed putting tournament for girls ages 6-17 and all skill levels are welcome. The girls will enjoy putting on The Ringer, an18-hole putting course for a fun and challenging putting course.
Wednesday, June 4th at The Tattersall Youth Development Center from 5:00 – 8:00pm – Girls are encouraged to team up with their dads for a fun 9-hole scramble. The winning team will earn a complimentary entry fee for the Ukrop’s Father Child event taking place at the same venue on Saturday, June 14th.

National Events
Each year, Girls Golf spearheads a number of national events and initiatives aimed at increasing opportunities for girls across the country to learn and play the game. From junior golf clinics at LPGA Tour events, to academies, tournaments, and outreach programs for our partner organizations, we give girls the chance to experience the game with other like-minded girls.
