Facilities

First Tee – Greater Richmond is proud to operate three facilities in the greater Richmond metropolitan area – Belmont, The Tattersall Youth Development Center and The Elson Redmond Memorial Driving Range.

All three facilities offer a variety of playing options for players of all skill levels and offer First Tee youth programs throughout the year.


Belmont

Reopened in May 2021 after a 17-month restoration and reimagination, Belmont is operated by First Tee – Greater Richmond, welcoming players of all ages and skills to find their entry point to the game.

Through the work of Love Golf Design, Belmont consists of 12 restored A.W. Tillinghast holes alongside Little Bell, a 6-hole par-3 course, and The Ringer, a reversible 18-hole putting course.

In 2023, Belmont opened the CapTech Innovation Center, which features a programming space for First Tee along with a Zen Green Stage putting table, allowing for Belmont’s PGA Professionals to offer putting lessons and fittings.


The Tattersall Youth Development Center

This 18-hole, par 66 golf course provides a challenge for all level of golfers. In addition to the 18-hole course, it includes great practice facilities complete with a driving range, practice greens, and a 3-hole development course focused on scoring distances developed by renowned architect Lester George.

The Tattersall Youth Development Center focuses on providing opportunities to the local community, historically hosting County, Corporate, and fund raising events.

The Tattersall Youth Development Center offers an indoor Trackman, perfect for keeping one’s game in shape during the winter months or when inclement weather arises.


The Elson Redmond Memorial Driving Range

Located in the heart of downtown Richmond, The Elson Redmond Memorial Driving Range provides a premier experience for all golfers, offering a 6-hole par-3 course with Bermuda grass and Champion Bermuda greens built by nationally acclaimed architect Lester George. Additionally, a large grass range, practice greens and bunker, and two Trackman 4 simulator bays promote a wide variety of practice opportunities.
