Late Fall Programs at PGA TOUR Superstore
Our First Tee Late Fall Programs are an opportunity for new and returning First Tee – Greater Richmond participants ages 7-18 to experience fun activities that build on both golf skills and life skills to keep participants engaged throughout the cooler months. First Tee continues its partnership with PGA Tour Superstore in Short Pump to host in-store programs on Wednesdays, where participants will have access to putting, 2 TrackMan practice bays, and instruction provided by trained First Tee coaches and experienced PGA Tour Superstore staff members.
Capacity is set at 12 participants per program.
Registration
Registration for Late Fall Programs will be a first come, first serve basis. You may sign up for one or multiple programs as your schedules allow and activities will vary each week. If programs are full, please join the waitlist.
Age Groups
- Ages 7-9: Participants continue building golf and life skills while staying active and engaged throughout the cooler months. Participants will develop fundamentals such as putting, chipping, and full swing through fun, age-appropriate activities, and interactive Trackman games like Scrapyard and Magic Pond.
- Ages 10-13: Participants continue building their golf and life skills throughout the cooler months. Each session will combine skill development and engaging practice activities with 9 holes of Trackman play (typically par 3 courses to build confidence), giving participants the opportunity to apply what they have learned in a fun, simulated course setting.
- Ages 14+: The Late Fall Teen League is designed for First Tee – Greater Richmond participants ages 14+ looking to continue developing their game while enjoying friendly competition throughout the cooler months. Each week will include skill development and course management followed by Trackman league play featuring a variety of individual and team competition formats. Participants will earn points each week based on their individual and team finishes, with standings tracked throughout the league. At the conclusion of both the Late Fall League and Winter League, prizes will be awarded to the top three participants in the overall points standings. Changing formats and courses from week to week will give participants opportunities to compete independently and alongside teammates while developing strategy, decision-making, confidence, and sportsmanship.
Pricing
A founding purpose of First Tee is to make golf more accessible to all youth, particularly young people who otherwise may not have an opportunity to learn and play the game. Our policy is to provide access to programs regardless of a participant’s ability to play. Our financial aid program is funded by generous donors. Parents/guardians may apply for financial aid as part of the online registration process. Once you have applied for financial aid through the online registration, you will receive an email notification and can then complete the registration.
Late Fall Programs are $15 for all ages.
- Ages 7-13 meet every other week on Wednesdays at PGA Tour Superstore.
- 14+ teen league meets every other week on Wednesdays at PGA Tour Superstore.
- Refunds will be subject to a $5.00 administrative fee.
- Participants receiving financial aid are expected to have attendance records in good standing to remain eligible for future aid.
- There will be no programs on Wednesday, November 25th, and Wednesday, December 23rd.

Keep the Fun Going with the First Tee App
Participants enrolled in our on-course programs can keep playing and learning with us through the First Tee App! After registering for a session, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to access the App, along with details about your unique participant account.
The First Tee App includes games and challenges that will reinforce the concepts experienced during class and bring them to life in new ways! Kids and teens will earn badges and points as they complete activities within the App, motivating them to keep going, and tracking their progress over time.
You can access the First Tee App from your Apple or Android device and tablet, as well as through an internet browser using WiFi or cellular data. The games and activities are also available to download for offline use.
