Josh Pawlus
Director of Golf Operations, The Tattersall Youth Development Center

Josh joined First Tee – Greater Richmond in January 2022 and serves as the Director of Golf Operations at The Tattersall Youth Development Center, where he oversees all aspects of the facility’s day-to-day operations, including staffing, leagues, scheduling, and maintenance.

He came to the organization after seven years at Ball State University, where he advanced to the role of Assistant Athletic Director of Game Operations for the Cardinals. During his time in Muncie, Ind., Josh was a key member of the athletics leadership team, coordinating daily scheduling for all 19 varsity sports and acting as the primary liaison between the athletics department and facilities. He also served as Tournament Director for the 2021 NCAA Men’s Golf Regional at The Sagamore Club in Noblesville, Ind., as well as several Mid-American Conference championships.

With more than 13 years of experience in collegiate athletics operations, Josh began his career as a student worker before rising to Facility Manager of the MAC Center at Kent State University in northeast Ohio. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Sport and Recreation Management from Kent State University.

When he’s not at The Tattersall, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelsey, their son, Colt, and their chocolate lab, Samoa. Together, they love exploring local breweries, hiking, and golfing.
