First Tee – Greater Richmond is proud to support Jasmine Limm, a First Tee – Greater Richmond participant, who has been selected to compete in the 2026 First Tee National Championship, taking place June 21–25 at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Limm’s selection marks a historic milestone for the chapter, as she becomes the first participant from First Tee – Greater Richmond to be selected for the prestigious national event. The First Tee National Championship brings together 48 of the organization’s top junior golfers (24 girls and 24 boys) from across the country for a 54-hole stroke-play competition that highlights both athletic achievement and the character strengths developed through First Tee programming.
As the only national First Tee event focused exclusively on tournament golf, the championship provides participants with a unique opportunity to compete at a collegiate venue while gaining exposure to future opportunities in the game.
Limm earned her place in the field through years of dedication and achievement both on and off the golf course. A participant in First Tee – Greater Richmond programs for the past three years, she currently participates in the chapter’s Player Development Academy under the guidance of Coach Ana at Belmont Golf Course. Through the program, she has continued to refine her competitive skills while embracing First Tee’s commitment to character development and life skills learning. She is also a regular participant in chapter tournaments and advanced playing opportunities throughout the region.
Her competitive resume is highlighted by a standout high school season. Limm qualified for the Virginia High School League (VHSL) Girls State Championship after earning medalist honors at the regional qualifier with a 68 at Dogwood Trace Golf Course. She followed that performance with a 71 at the state championship, narrowly missing the title in a playoff. Limm has also enjoyed success on the Peggy Kirk Bell Tour, posting a scoring average of 76.25 while recording top finishes in events such as the Colonial Classic and Commonwealth Girls Classic.
Beyond individual competition, Limm has represented First Tee – Greater Richmond with distinction in several chapter and regional events. She was a member of the winning 14+ division team at the 2025 Redmond Cup and has consistently finished among the top performers in the HBCU Skills Challenge held during the Dominion Energy Charity Classic.
Her selection for the National Championship reflects not only her golfing accomplishments, but also her commitment to pursuing long-term goals. Earlier this year, Limm made the difficult decision to step away from high school volleyball to focus on golf year-round and continue working toward her goal of playing collegiate golf. Through countless hours of practice alongside her family and First Tee coaches, she has demonstrated the discipline, perseverance, and determination necessary to compete at the highest level.
“Jasmine has maximized every opportunity available to her through First Tee – Greater Richmond,” said Kelly Brown, Vice President of Impact. “She is an outstanding competitor, a supportive teammate, and a young person of strong character. We are incredibly proud to see her represent our chapter on the national stage.”
As Limm prepares to compete against some of the nation’s top junior golfers, she will carry with her the support of the entire First Tee – Greater Richmond community. Her participation in the 2026 First Tee National Championship represents a significant achievement for both Limm and the chapter, while serving as an inspiration for the next generation of First Tee participants.
