2025 Summer Programs
Registration for Summer First Tee Programs and Camps are now open!
At First Tee – Greater Richmond, we build game changers. Our Summer First Tee Programs and Camps are an excellent opportunity for youth ages 5-18 with any skill-sets to learn the game of golf. Through our courses we build on both golf skills and life skills in a fun group setting. Our evidence based curriculum helps kids become better versions of themselves while strengthening the character of our community.
All three First Tee – Greater Richmond facilities will be offering Summer First Tee Programs and Camps at varying times for the different age groups. To go straight to course schedules, click your desired location here – Richmond, Henrico, Chesterfield or Summer Camp Schedules.
In addition to Summer First Tee Programs, First Tee – Greater Richmond will host additional matches, tournaments, and special events. Click here to view them!
Registration
Registration will be a first come, first serve basis. If sessions are full, please join the waitlist. Although a space on the waitlist does not guarantee a spot in a First Tee Program or camp, it does increase your chance of getting a spot should we increase maximum capacities, add additional classes, or have a cancellation occur.
Age Groups
First Tee – Greater Richmond utilizes age-based programs that create a stimulating and age appropriate environment for our program participants.
Participants will register and be grouped by age (5-6, 7-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14+), and will progress through the program as they “age up”. In some cases, age groups may be grouped together to maximize class sizes.
Pricing
A founding purpose of First Tee is to make golf more accessible to all youth, particularly young people who otherwise may not have an opportunity to learn and play the game. Our policy is to provide access to programs regardless of a participant’s ability to play. Our financial aid program is funded by generous donors. Parents/guardians may apply for financial aid as part of the online registration process. Once you have applied for financial aid through the online registration, you will receive an email notification and can then complete the registration.
Ages 5-6 classes (4 week session): $50 (45 minutes)
Ages 7-13 classes (4 week session): $60 (60 minutes)
- Classes meet once a week.
- Participants may only sign up for ONE First Tee Program course to ensure we are reaching everyone in the community to maintain our coach to participant ratios and maximize participation.
- Classes are intended to be outdoors, subject to weather. In the event of inclement weather, classes will be held inside.
- Refunds will be subject to a $15.00 administrative fee.
- Participants receiving financial aid are expected to have attendance records in good standing to remain eligible for future aid.
