2025 Spring Programs

Registration for Spring First Tee Programs will open on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 4TH at 8:00AM.

At First Tee – Greater Richmond, we build game changers. Our Spring First Tee Programs are an excellent opportunity for youth ages 5-18 with any skill-sets to learn the game of golf. Through our courses we build on both golf skills and life skills in a fun group setting. Our evidence based curriculum helps kids become better versions of themselves while strengthening the character of our community.

All three First Tee – Greater Richmond facilities will be offering Spring programs at varying times for the different age groups. To go straight to course schedules, click your desired location here – Richmond, Henrico, or Chesterfield.

In addition to Spring First Tee Programs, First Tee – Greater Richmond will be hosting additional matches, tournaments, and special events. Click here to view them!

Registration

Registration will be a first come, first serve basis. If sessions are full, please join the waitlist. Although a space on the waitlist does not guarantee a spot in a First Tee Program, it does increase your chance of getting a spot should we increase maximum capacities, add additional classes, or have a cancellation occur. As a reminder, registration will open on Tuesday, February 4th at 8:00AM.

Age Groups

First Tee – Greater Richmond utilizes age-based programs that create a stimulating and age appropriate environment for our program participants.

Participants will register and be grouped by age (5-6, 7-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14+), and will progress through the program as they “age up”. In some cases, age groups may be grouped together to maximize class sizes.

Pricing

A founding purpose of First Tee is to make golf more accessible to all youth, particularly young people who otherwise may not have an opportunity to learn and play the game. Our policy is to provide access to programs regardless of a participant’s ability to play. Our financial aid program is funded by generous donors. Parents/guardians may apply for financial aid as part of the online registration process. Once you have applied for financial aid through the online registration, you will receive an email notification and can then complete the registration.

Ages 5-6 classes: $90 (45 minutes)

Ages 7-13 classes: $100 (60 minutes)

  • Classes meet once a week.

  • Refunds will be subject to a $15.00 administrative fee.
