First Tee – Greater Richmond’s mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. Since its founding in 1997, First Tee – Greater Richmond has strengthened the character of our community. Annually more than 1,000 youth receive our proven youth development programming and learn the tools they need to succeed at home, in school, at play and beyond. Additionally, the three First Tee – Greater Richmond inclusive and welcoming public facilities provide affordable golf opportunities to thousands of patrons every year.
